PFM porcelain fused metal crowns.jpg

Dental crowns are fabricated using numerous different methods. Today's methods include new technology and materials that weren't previously available to the dental industry.

Pictured above is what is known as a PFM or a porcelain fused to metal crown. They are designed to look as natural and aesthetic as possible but still have a foundation of gold, silver and palladium alloys for strength and rigidity.

With our induction furnaces, the porcelain can be left on the crown and melted together. By adding a flux to the melt, the porcelain bonds to the flux and is separated off as slag when the bar is poured.

Contemporary Refining & Recycling Solutions doesn't have any lot fees or assay charges and our returns on gold start out at 98% With our own in house refinery & assay lab, we are able to offer some of the most competitive rates in the industry.
